 New Autosampler Ensures Standardisation of Pre-Analytical Steps
10 Aug 2010 The new ASSIST autosampler from SERBIA is designed to ensure standardisation of all pre-analytical steps for automated sample preparation for gel electrophoresis. ASSIST works in conjunction with SEBIA’s HYDRASYS 2 instrument and data acquisition software PHORESIS to provide full automation and positive sample identification. Developed to address the needs of clinical diagnostic laboratories, this innovative autosampler eliminates manual pipetting with direct sampling from primary tubes. Featuring a barcode management system for positive identification of primary sample tubes, the autosampler also provides automatic dispensing of antisera for immunofixation.
